New Teacher Mentorship Program
I remember when I became a new yoga teacher. I had over 20 years of music teaching experience and was considered a “master” trainer and leader in the U'.S. Navy for well over a decade. I had led 1000’s of people all at once for my job. I was INCREDIBLY fortunate to have graduated a teacher training that led me to dig deep into my own shit, get out of my own way so I could SEE THE STUDENTS, and focused a lot on practice teaching time so I felt that I could teach immediately after graduating. Even with all of that, I still had insecurities about stepping in front of a yoga class! Teaching classes, deepening my own practice, and mentorship/feedback from trusted teachers has led me to a place of confidence which shows up big for my students.
I have seen and spoken with many new yoga training graduates that were not as lucky to have numerous hours of practice teaching as part of their training programs and who continue to be so in their own mind and on their own mat that they don’t SEE THEIR STUDENTS’ BODIES. When I am a part of those classes I do feel unseen, as though I am only there for the teacher to practice. I wonder how they teach unaware of the physical feedback in their student’s bodies.
If we aren’t teaching to and for the students, why do we teach? A student-centered teaching approach requires practice and getting out of our own way, and I can help you get there!
What will you gain from this teacher mentorship program? You will:
Learn how to and why it is important to teach to your students.
Practice teach EVERY session and often.
Receive constructive and honest feedback.
Have tangible assignments to work on between each session.
Improve your teaching.

Learn and grow A TON!!!!!!
Here’s what it is not. It is not:
A space to disrespect ANY other training you have received.
A CEU based teacher training.
Something that can be coupled with other hours to get further yoga certifications.
The program consists of 5 weekly sessions (preferably 5 weeks in a row) and each session will be 2 hours in length for a total of 10 hours. You can do this individually or we can have a group of no more than 3 teachers. There are no specific dates of the program as we will tailor it to what works best for all involved.
Your total investment is $750.
Payment options:
Pay in full ($750) at time of registration.
50% payment ($375) required at time of registration and 50% ($375) upon the start date decided by you and me.
